Make me Captain of South Africa, I will Captain in all Formats

South African cricket team spinner Keshav Maharaj expressed his desire that he is ready to captain this team in all formats of cricket. Keshav Maharaj has the experience of captaining and captaining his home team Dolphins during the One Day Cup this season. Although Cricket South Africa suspended the domestic season this time due to the Kovid 19 epidemic, this team was given the title of One Day Cup.

Keshav Maharaj said that I was given the captaincy of this team last season and since then I am enjoying this responsibility. Now I really want to be the captain of the South Africa team and this is my dream. He said that not many people know about it, but some people have approached me on this matter.

Keshav put his point in front of everyone through Sports24 Dot and said that I want to captain the Proteas team in all the three formats of cricket and lift the World Cup trophy with my hands as the leader of the team. I don’t want to play for this team just as a player. Raising the World Cup with my own hands has been my dream since childhood.

Let me tell you that du Plessis gave up the captaincy of the South Africa team after which Quinton Dickock was made the captain of the ODI team. Dickock is also the captain of the team in the T20 format and he captained the team in England and Australia this year. Cricket South Africa has not yet announced the captain of the Test team. South Africa was to play three ODIs and the same number of T20 series against Sri Lanka but was postponed due to the Kovid 19 epidemic.
