Grant Bradburn Aims For World T20 Glory For Scotland

Scotland’s head coach, Grant Bradburn, had made his plans clear on his role with Cricket Scotland. “I am blessed to have helpful people here at Cricket Scotland and I will look forward to level with them,” Bradburn claimed to the media in an interview. “My next dream is to make Scotland the winner of coming World T20.”

Being the former New Zealand off-spinner who played in 11 one-day internationals and seven Tests, Bradburn was in the running for his nation’s vacant place for a coach. On the other hand, with Gary Stead appointed by New Zealand Cricket as the new chief coach of the national team for men this week, Bradburn made clear that he will carry on with Scotland and seek higher.

The team remarkably won against England, the top-ranked one-day international team in the summer in an ODI. Bradburn now wishes to shake up things in Australia in the ICC World T20 2020.

Speaking of Scotland Cricket, in July this year, it was most certain that Scotland will be the next nation to come forward and take complete membership of the International Cricket Council (ICC). This is as per the Chief Executive Officer Cricket Scotland, Malcolm Cannon.

The country might, if their application is accepted, have more certain top cricket games to play with against the likes of England, Australia, Pakistan, India, and South Africa.

With Afghanistan and Ireland becoming complete members in 2017, the total complete membership figure now contains 12 nations. The other 10 are: Bangladesh, Australia, India, England, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and the West Indies.

The remaining membership of the ICC is made up of 93 nations, each with the status of associate membership. The Falklands, the USA, and Nepal at this point in time are below suspension of membership.
