Aaron Finch Helps Surrey For A Mandatory Win

To win the last two games after losing its back, Surrey took the right tone and beat Hampshire with 7 wickets at The Oval. Hampshire only managed 133 of 7 after deciding to bat first, thanks to four wickets between Morne Morkel and Jade Dernbach. Sam Nordeste’s scored the highest of 37 runs.

In response, Aaron Finch’s 57 balls 67 runs with Nic Maddinson’s 41 made a firm play to overcome the loss of the first wicket of Jason Roy and Will Jacks in the power play and help Surrey reach the target in 17.3 overs.

On the other side of the tournament, contest between Warwickshire vs Lancashire of North Group

The four shots of Oliver Hannon-Dalby took on 102 in 19 overs after the visitors chose to bat first. Grant Elliott and Aaron Thomason each with two wickets, bringing the Lancashire to 59 for 6 in 10 overs. Danny Lamb’s worst drop in the rankings led to an inadequate and isolated rearguard.
